Ever since day 1 of even applying for engineering schools I’ve always said that I wanted to get into the business side of engineering. It seemed as if there is more money on that side and more opportunities to build my career.
What I mean by this is rather than being on the front end actually designing and fixing engineering processes I’d rather be on the other end of things actually running and managing the business. Something that isn’t necessarily engineering but it is better to have someone who is an engineer and understands the process in the position.
I am still in school for engineering but I know I’m going to need to start looking for jobs fairly soon so I don’t want to go into it not knowing what I need to do. Thinking about going for a MBA once I get out of college.
