How to bolt through an angled surface.

Hello I am attempting to bolt a 3mm steel sheet to a 80° surface. What is the correct procedure to do this, it seems like machining into the steel will not be cost effective and will also weaken the component graetly. Any help would be appreciated, I have linked image below.
