Hello,
I am working on an electric spinning fish reel for my disability.
I originally made a prototype with a yellow gear motor as if was cheap, light, and could be powered on USB. Didn't have enough power.
I'm trying to find a new motor but im an indecisive type and I need advice on how to choose a motor where to look.
Specifications:
~ able to pull at least 100g without slowing, ideally more
- as light as possible (will be on a rod that weighs only 500g)
- bonus points for being able to pull much more (up to 6 lb) as the line is rated for 8 lb
- doesn't resist rotation or lock when not powered
- rpm around 120 (variable speeds is bonus)
I'm looking at one called zytd520 but it's quite heavy and there might be a better option
