I am a novice when it comes to electrical / mechanical engineering and am hoping that someone will be able to help!
I'm trying to create a weight sensitive dog bowl, that when water is drank, a treat is dispensed. Here are the components I am planning to buy:
- MG995 360 Degree Continuous Rotation Metal Gear Digital Servo
- Load Cell Resistive Membrane Pressure Sensor Module Flexible Force Sensitive Analog FSR402
- Arduino UNO R4 Minima
Component-wise, I believe that is all I would need. In theory, I'll connect the servo and the pressure sensor to the Arduino and after figuring out the code, can have it detect when the dog bowl has become lighter, triggering the servo to rotate the necessary amount.
Would these components work together? If anyone has a different idea I am all ears!
Thanks!
