Those of you that work(ed) at companies that have European partners, how do you handle the control cabinets that come with some of the machines?
If a customer wants a UL listed panel but that is part of the package deal by the partner company, how do you approach that?
I work in mining so sometimes we import recessed plate & frame presses, de-watering wheels, log washers, centrifuges, or something simpler like a vibrating screen or feeder gates. We also import skid sized rain/gray/black water treatment systems.
They're designed and built in Germany, Italy, China, and Australia. So besides China, I know that the EU has the CE approval, Aussie UL-AU, and Canada has CSA but not all are accepted in the US.
What do you all do in those circumstances?
