So I’m trying to build digitigrade stilts and I need extra support so it doesn’t brake when I put my full weight on them, I’m using 1x1 wood in a 3” wide, 2’ ish long 1/4” thick cardboard tube that I filled with expanding foam to keep the wood where I want it while I figure out how to further strengthen it, this is a low budget project but I don’t want to hurt myself, what material or supplies would be a good start?
Edit: the foam and cardboard is for attaching cosmetic stuff to build a Halloween costume, they are not for supporting me just giving me more to work with when I get to the later stages, I didn’t realize that I made it seem like I was using them for support
