Yard windmill powering a decorative fountain - help needed

Post Body

I keep having these intrusive thoughts of making a very small (maybe 3 ft) windmill for my backyard. To make the build a whole ton more fun- I’m thinking the mill should actually power something. A small water pump shouldn’t take more than 5-10kw so that feels like an awesome option. If I add the windmill and place a small fountain next to it, what parts would I need from the electrical point of view. Any thoughts on if it would be doable? I’m no mark rober, just want to make a fun summer project. Has anyone here used wind energy to power something off the grid?
