I've seen a teardown of this mug and the display is just an LED matrix. What I'm wondering is, how could one go about duplicating this effect?
How can you qualify a material and material thickness that has an opacity low enough for this "effect".
I know it's not an electronics question per se, but I figured someone on here would know the how's and why's of such...
