I could use some help rewiring an old treadmill control panel.

Post Body

My aunt has a treadmill and the mesh touch panel has failed. Too expensive to buy a replacement part and not really available to buy anyway so I wanted to wire in momentary push buttons instead. I traced the connections to the pins on the board and I know which pins need to be shorted to activate each feature and all are three pin combinations.

I wanted to use a simple momentary switch but haven't found any 3PST switches. I could use multiple switches but I wanted to keep it to one plush button per feature for the sake of simplicity for my aunt. It was suggested to me that I could use SPST switches and relays but I've never worked with relays before and I'm not sure what I would need for this application.

So if anybody has any suggestions on the best approach for this fix or any advice at all for me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
