For amplifiers with many output devices in parallel, is providing one medium sized electrolytic filter capacitor for each one (operating off the same rail) close by better than one very large electrolytic filter for positive rail every output device (and another for the negative rail)?

Post Body

This is what the McCormack DNA-1 amplifier does (with 16x4000uF), its output impedance is 3.5X that of my Yamaha P2200 (2X 22000uF), the latter amplifier having a slightly higher power rating supply output rating, the Yamaha having one less output device pair per channel.
