What’s a circuit that will boost my voltage but still allow me to measure my change current coming from the voltage source across the load?

Post Body

We have a fancy Stanford preamp that we use in our research that applies a constant voltage to semiconductor devices and electronic materials. It measures a change in current coming out it as it applies that constant, steady voltage to the device FROM THE SAME PORT. The preamp has a range of -5 to 5 volts and I need a circuit that can boost it to higher voltages (like -6 to 6 or -7 to 7) but that will still allow me to measure the current passing from the preamp. I built an awesome elaborate op amp gain circuit and then realized that this wasn’t going to allow me to measure changes in current from the same port that the voltage was coming from.
