What are those thin strips of metal used to connect batteries together called?

Post Body

I have a DIY solar chargeable power bank kit (batteries not included).

I have batteries I've salvaged for repurposing. But the strips that were used to connect them either didn't survive the extraction, or do not conform with how this device would have them positioned.
Even if I don't use them for this project, I think it would be good to acquire some for a future project.

But it's hard to search for things online when you don't know any names.

So what search terms should I use?

Additionally, if it's not too much to ask:
When it comes to pricing, what's too much, and what's likely too good to be true?
Is there anything I need to watch out for?
What are the best methods for attaching them for home hobbyists?

I personally welcome product or tutorial links.

Thanks in advance for your knowledge and advice.

Oh! Also, what are some names for that enamel sometimes painted on solder points called?
It's often green, sometimes red.
