Recently got a Hakko FX-951 for a project I'm working on. It was working fine, until yesterday when it starting going to sleep "SLP" and not being hot enough to melt the solder. I've tried removing the connecting cord, changing the temperature, unplugging the tip and plugging it back in, but it still won't get hot enough to work with. Could there be something wrong with the circuitry for the connecting cable? From what I understand it should go to sleep when the iron is in the holder, maybe it's always being registered as in the holder? Thanks in advance.
