This is a collectible I bought knowing the voice wasn't working well. I took out the voice box and heard a faint voice. When I pressed it a second time, there was a kind of snap sound like something broke (maybe I pushed it too hard?) Replacing the batteries didn't help. Can it be fixed? I don't really have a lot of experience with electronics outside of a college class in basic electricity a few years ago.
I saw a post about a similar plushie voice box, but it looked slightly different and I think my issue is different. Any help is appreciated, or just being told it can't be fixed so I don't waste my time trying to figure it out. Thanks guys
If it matters, this is a Wild Republic Audubon bird plushie of a Northern Bobwhite. It's supposed to make the classic "bob-white" call.
