Trying to reuse resistive touch screen
Post Body

I'm looking at this touch screen controller board that's already inside the unit, and it appears that it's outputting to a five-pin USB, what I assume is 2.0. and as you can see, it goes into the OEM motherboard, with this very small five pin connection. Am I correct in assuming I don't need an additional USB converter board that I could change that five pin to a USB type 2 or micro USB and connect directly to another motherboard? When I access the hid compliant touch screen component from the device manager, it appears it just has it listed as a USB input device. So I think this converter board's doing all the work that I need for it. It it's just outputting to a USB. Right?
