When I was in school I had a great bread board. Now my son is interested in electronics (a little younger than I was) and I want to make his experience as easy as I can. I'd like to get him a bread board, but I'm struggling to find one that simplifies his experience as much as possible.
My first bread board was powered. I could plug it into the wall and there were binding posts for different voltages, as well as the ground. There were also built in switches and LEDs. A simple circuit could be made with nothing but wire (wire from power to switch, switch to LED, LED to ground).
I've spent hours looking and can't find anything like this. Does anyone know what this product is? If not, does anyone have a recommendation for a great entry-level bread board for a middle school aged kid?
