On Amazon you can buy a dongle that allows a user to both charge a device via USB-C power delivery (up to 20V) while also hosting a USB-A port.
How does this work? USB-A is 5 volts and power delivery can be up to 20V - and in both instances the CC1 and CC2 pins need to be configured differently. Is this a configuration of USB-C or is there a specific IC that does the job?
Here's an example of a device that does this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DD4S4D1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
