Hello everyone, For context I just switched from being a butcher to the IT Field, and to be honestā¦ I am a little dissatisfied. Before landing the job I was heavily considering applying for apprenticeship/schooling through the local union and I am considering it again. I find that IT is just companies selling you certifications to āmove upā in your career like a rat race, and to be honest I kind of miss working with tools (blades in my case) and putting in some hard work. The other attractive thing is the promise of making high pay and actually maybe affording a house one day in this economy. All in allā¦ my hands are getting softer and i donāt like it.
Any insight into what I should do?
