Help with fireplace switch
Post Body

Please help:

My tile guys didn't cut out the box for the fireplace on/off switch (my fault if l'm being honest) I am looking for a solution that preferably does not involve cutting tile.

Wire: 20AWG (green red white) Fireplace: Majestic Quartz natural gas

I am looking for either a switch that I can surface mount OR one that uses adhesive to stay in place. I need all wiring to be hidden (in the fireplace cavity behind the tile)

The only thing I can think of that might work is to use a round switch like linked below. I imagine we can drill a round hole in the tile much easier than we can cut a square into the tile without losing the tile. I would prefer to not drill / cut at all and was hoping (praying) that one of you has a solution. I can't be the only person to mess this up before right?

Here is one I found. I am not an electrician and I'm not sure about exactly what kind of switch I need. I assumed because the wire has 3 wires I need a 3 pin switch? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
