Saw something the other day but I can’t find it online as I don’t know the name of it.
It is essentially like a tape or almost like a nylon strip a few inches thick. You pull it off a reel, cut it to size and screw it to the face of 2 studs spanning the space between them. On the back side of the strip there are weak/ modified spots every inch or so that you can push MC through. Would very muck like to know if anyone here knows what I’m talking about as we’re currently understaffed and on 2 separate larger jobs and each time we bounce between the two we find that yet another MC cable has been buried or damaged and this would at least make it significantly more annoying for the drywallers to bury our stuff.
