Hello,
I have a QOC42UF electrical panel with overcrowded main busbars, some of which are even doubled up on lugs. I intend to install an expansion kit at the panel's bottom to improve the wiring organization. My primary concern is whether most expansion kits are designed to connect directly to the panel without any insulating barrier. Is this the standard practice, or should there be insulators to prevent direct contact between the expansion kit and the panel casing?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
