Power keeps going out

My outlets are turning off randomly and I think it's the cable in the middle. It looked weird so I stripped it and reconnected it and it worked for 2 days then it went out. I did it again and it is working but I'm guessing it won't last long. So is it possible to replace only one cable or should they all be done?
