What if a law was passed, such that in every business, the ratio between the top earner and the bottom earner must be lower than 10?
For example, if the most-earning person received 1M€ this year, the least-earning got at least 100k€.
What would the consequences of such a law be?
(I am a mathematician, not an economist. I have been inspired by the news stories about cooperatives and the way they appear to be more resilient to crisis and more productive, while having a lower gap between top and bottom earner)
