Real inflation?

Post Body

Hi

My apologies if this is not the right place to ask this.

In the first 10 mins, Michael Saylor talks about the real rate of inflation in the US being much higher around 20-25% rather than CPI's 2% because it doesn't include a lot of things such as housing etc. He talks about the stock market going up 27% this year.

Is there any truth to this? Obviously, if there is then it is alarming. I have heard him state this in numerous interviews and a number of Bitcoiners claim the same as one of the justifications to invest in BTC. Robert Kiyosaki has mentioned this too with gold/silver etc for years but he is always fear-mongering.
