Post Body

I noticed major economies i.e China , USA , Canada, Brazil and Europe currencies highest value is capped at 100 except euro with 500 notes. Small economies in most African countries such as Zimbabwe, Uganda and even Argentina have bank notes in tens of thousands.

However Japan , Korea and India have notes of 10k yen , 50k won and 2k rupees yet they're also major economies .

I could use an explanation it's been bugging me the whole day.

Comments

Convert all to USD and you'll find that larger economies with smaller currencies (please differentiate between smaller and weaker) tend to have larger denominations.
