Ok, earlier this year I fell while walking my dog. It was late April and I felt sore for a few weeks and I thought nothing of it. Finally early May rolls around and the pain is becoming unbearable in my gut area and testicles. My wife and I decided I would take it easy that weekend. Well we went to breakfast and I began to feel VERY lightheaded and nausea's. We had to leave the restaurant so my wife could drive me to urgent care.
Fast forward an hour later and I'm in the exam room and my wife had to wheelchair me in as I still felt very light-headed. The urgent care doctor gave me shot of ketorolac in the rear end. He wound up prescribing these medications for me to take the next few days; Zofran, Doxycycline Monohydrate, NAPROSYN. After the injection they did a ultrasound on my testicles as most of the pain was there.
The md said you have Epididymitis and sent me on my way home and pharmacy. He advised just to take it easy for a few days which I did. Before I knew it I was feeling fine and I didn't feel anything at all! Summer rolls by and everything is good to go. October rolls around and I notice my stomach has been feeling weird, kind of like when your hungry (dull pain) almost bloated feeling sometimes. I got to thinking and remember my fall and thought maybe that was part of it...
I realized I had been eating a lot less than I used to. I weighed myself and I had lost 10 pounds since May. I wasn't actively trying to lose any weight. I struggled and still do to eat a regular meal. Overall I think my stomach pain has something to do with my diminished appetite which is causing me to lose weight.
I had a physical last Wednesday and Doc didn't see anything unusual and didn't see any signs of hernia when she checked. The dull pain and weight loss and diminished appetite has me worried that something bigger is happening.
TLDR: Pain in lower stomach sometimes on left mostly on the right and feel pressure on my lower back as if something is pushing against something else.. Pain is always dull and can be described as a hungry or stomach growling feeling. Reduced appetite and weight loss. Lost 18 lbs since last December to today Dec. 18.
Thanks for any help.
Update I had an ultrasound done today and doctor says that I have sludge in my Gallbladder. She says there are no Stones in it. She recommended that I eat a low-fat diet for two weeks and follow up with her. Problem is I haven't been eating much. Today I had a bottle of water and a very small portion of dried jerky. Tonight I had a small serving of homemade pasta and a soda.
Is it reasonable to believe that my diminished appetite is from the sludge? I've went days where I only had a granola bar and water and some milk.
