White spots on one side of throat

So I gave rough oral sex a few days ago and ever since then the right side of my throat has been swollen, red and white dots. The other side of my throat is fine. It’s not an STD so don’t go there. This is my only partner and I his. I’ve gargled salt water and tried cough drops. I have no other symptoms just a sore, red throat. I’m on day 3 or 4 now. I saw a Teladoc and she said it’s just a sore throat but it’s got me freaking out.
