F19, i take concerta for adhd, iron supplememts for slight anemia, and vit D supplments.
This all started yesterday- woke up and I felt fine at first but it got progressively worse over the day. (Having family over for Christmas dinner was no help...) what happened this morning is making me worried it's not a regular flu because I've never had that happen before.
Yesterday: woke up with phlegm in my throat which was fine, but developed a headache, sinus pressure/pain, and neck pain. Then later my muscles became super sore and week. It got to the point where it felt like I had just participated in a triathlon and my body was giving me payback. I couldn't move very well, and I had decided to go lay down. Time also felt very very slow, if that means anything.
Took a warm shower and that seemed to help a bit.
Went to bed, and I kept waking up over and over again to go to the bathroom- probably 5 or 6 times. Then, I woke up for the day about 30 mins ago. My muscles felt a bit better, and my headache wasn't as bad(mostly just the neck pain.)
Until I got up.
I went to the bathroom which was fine, but I went up the stairs into the kitchen and I started to feel so, so dizzy. I couldn't tell which way was which, and my ears were ringing so bad- and everything I could hear outside of my head felt like it was behind glass. I felt very cold but still sweating. I also felt very nauseous, and threw up a little. (I felt like this wheb i took off the tense bandage after donating blood the first time BTW. Haven't donate blood recently though.)
I am now laying I'm bed again and I'm no longer dizzy/cold/sweating/tinnitus. My legs are sore from getting up though, and my throat hurts. Neck is sore when I move it much. I am afraid to get up because it felt so seriously awful. I do have my parents here to help me if needed.
Any advice or help would be appreciated- I was worried I might have meningitis or something because a girl at my university died of it not too long ago. I know it's probably not that but, I worry just a little bit.
