When should I go to the doctor for my elbow?
Post Body

Wednesday at work I hit my elbow, it was the normal sharp pain, but it went away and I didn't think anything else of it. That night I started having pretty severe pain in my elbow and triceps any time I move my arm. If I hold my arm still the pain subsides, but any movement brings it back. If I hold my arm in the same position for some time it'll also feel stiff when trying to move it again. Trying to straighten my arm causes the most pain. There's no swelling or bruising. If I press on my elbow I can find a really tender spot, but don't feel anything else abnormal. At what point should I go to the doctor? I don't have a pcp so I'd probably have to go to urgent care. It's pretty painful, I'd say at least a 5 on a 1-10 scale and it hasn't gotten any better so far.
