Demographic : 29 transgender female , 5’5 150 pounds - estrogen 9 years but honestly haven’t taken my hormones in a while nor spironolactone.
Medicines: levothyroxin for hypothyroidism
Occasionally : baclofen as needed or erythyomycin for GERD and gut motility.
I’m not dehydrated as I always pee clear and drink electrolytes. However I do lose them quickly according to my previous plastic surgeons.
Drugs/Alc: None maybe one drink per month. Never smoked
Underlying condition : Gi.
I have an unknown GI issue (previously diagnosed in Korea with UC) and constant stomach distention due to gut motility issues confirmed by two endoscopies.
GI doctor here doesn’t know if it’s UC, and I can’t get the one medicine that worked (Otilinium bromide) in USA (why?)
Maybe applicable: neurological pain in my legs (always feels heavy like lead) needs gabapentin occasionally
THE CHEST
This seems to only be a summer related issue and maybe specifically sun/ dry heat related. As I live in a desert it’s hot and dry.
Whenever I am exposed to extreme outside heat for even a few mins, I get chest pains that feel like I can’t breathe and an elephant is on me.
Sometimes it lasts for a few mins, and others for hours.
When I check me 02 levels my oxygen is 96-99 and normal BP 120/70.
It also can be triggered specifically by cardio events which lead to overheating , but it has to be elevated body heat. Even stair climbing causes the same reaction .
In the winter I play badminton at a high level and can run for hours without issue.
Nobody has been able to tell me what to check for.
