Possible MPN and blood clots
Post Body

Hey guys, I'm female 27 Aboriginal/Australian. I have a possible MPN, in early stages of diagnosis. I see a haematologist every 6 months, my next appointment is coming up at the end of October. I have had mild thrombocytosis and neutrophilia for around a year. A few months ago I noticed a small lump on my right calf but I only noticed it sometimes and didn't pay attention to when or what i was doing. Just a month ago I noticed another on my left calf. I have been trying to increase exercise recently and have noticed they enlarge after exercise. They also become sore and tender.

I can't get in to see my regular gp, but I saw a random one yesterday and had an ultrasound today.

The guy doing the ultrasound was tight lipped but asked me if I had any vascular issues in the past. To which I told him I haven't. I know I can't get any info until next week at least.

I just want to know in a worse case scenario and I do have blood clots- what should I be doing at home over the long weekend? Is it okay to still do my exercise and try to push myself physically? I am planning on going camping on country to get some much needed healing.

Some of the symptoms I've had over the last year are, poor circulation, easy bruising and not going away, trouble breathing especially during exercise, light headed, a loc episode, vomiting and diarrhea for 6 months.
