UTI or herpes?
Post Body

29 yrs old 5'7 195 lbs Los Angeles, CA Azithromycine, doxycycline( haven't finished) metronidazole, phenazopyridine, descovy for prep, cephalexin (haven't finished)

I had a hernia surgery on 7/8. Then I noticed I had cramping and loss of appetite. Around the 16th. I saw white cloudy discharge and feeling of fluid running from my tip of my penis, to the perineum to my Anus. I got tested at the AHF clinic here in LA and it was negative for hiv syphilis gonorrhea and chlamydia but they gave me a shot and doxycycline that same day of testing. Then I noticed my lymph nodes were swelling at my groin which thought it was the surgery and I had pain during urination. I went to retest at the ahf but was negative then went to an urgent care and uti came negative. A day later on this past Sunday I went to the emergency room and they took a sample of my discharge and urine and it had trace of blood, protein, leukocyte estera, rbc, and wbc. So that doctor gave me cephalexin. The next day this Monday I saw the urologist and she gave me azithromycine and metronidazole and phenazopyridine. Symptoms still haven't lessened and my urine stream isn't coming out normally or as strong. My primary care and urologist have different opinions about stds like herpes. Is it possible this could be a herpes outbreak but inside my urethra? Is it worth testing? I don't want to test for it but I'm torn about if I should rule it out or it will add more stress if everyone mostly has it and if it's not the root cause of it.
