I made another post on this subreddit 5-6 months ago, which you can read here. Please read through the original post as it will give the full backstory.
Unfortunately, not much has changed since my last post. It's been almost 2 years since my pain started. I had a venogram in January 2022 and, at the time, my doctor seemed very concerned about the results. There were a few areas where my veins were compressed, but the compression resolved when doing the valsalva maneuver. Here are some images from the venogram. The venogram results said there is compression of the right prox-mid superficial femoral vein, left prox-mid superficial femoral vein, and left common femoral vein.
My vascular doctor said he was consulting with some other surgeons about this, but in the end he pretty much dropped me and I never heard from him again. His office stopped returning my calls, and when I requested a copy of my records they refused to send it for months. I'm trying to get in to see another vascular specialist, but am struggling to find one in my area that's accepting new patients (and takes my insurance).
I've had a few other ultrasounds and CT scans over the past few months, all of which were normal. I had surgery at the end of May to get a spinal cord stimulator implanted, but the device does not work at all despite having a successful trial. I'm extremely frustrated. It feels like every doctor I see tells me some and I don't know who to believe! Many people on my last post suggested venous stasis, but none of my doctors think it's that because all of my ultrasounds show normal blood flow.
All I want to know is... are those venogram results normal? If not, is this a problem that can be fixed? What else could be causing this?
