I left a negative covid test on the table and it was positive a few hours later. Might it be a false positive?

I have some covid symptoms (light cough, sore throat, nasal congestion) and so completed a rapid covid antigen test (RapidResponse) at home today and it showed negative after the 15-minute waiting period, with only the top line visible.

I left it on the table where it was, exposed to the air for 2 hours or so and happened to walk past later and see that the bottom line that declares a positive result had eeever so slightly appeared but was very faint. It was barely visible relative to the top line. I'm planning on testing again late this week if my symptoms persist anyway but would this extremely delayed result suggest I might be positive or is it likely invalid since so much time had passed?
