Hello everyone I have a relative that lives in a country that doesnāt have the best healthcare. They diagnosed him with MS but his symptoms are so severe that I wonder how can someone so young get so bad so quick.
26M symptom onset 16 years of age Weakness all over
difficulty walking and getting worse everyday currently uses a cane but moving to a walker
Shaking when holding anything.
Loss of balance when walking
Hearing loss completely in 1 ear and losing hearing in the other rapidly
Legally blind by US standards- canāt even leave his home alone because of blindness
Mood issues, lashes out, depression, attempted suicide in the past before blindness
Now the symptoms sound like MS but even with medication it seems heās just going to become immobile and lose all semblance of independence. Since MS is not a āterminalā illness in that it kills, Will he live the rest of his life in this misery?
