I am a 34 year old female. I weigh about 250. No prior medical issues. I do smoke but am taking meds to stop i am currently taking xarelto.

I have no idea about the clot size but it is in my calf. I started xarelto 3 days ago so I am 4 doses in. When can I stop working about it causing PE?

Also I had no pain or swelling just an annoying cramp that wasn't a cramp and some warm flushing in my leg. Today it burns up to my thigh area and Slight and I do mean slight almost unnoticeable swelling and the burning. Is this normal?

Lastly what would you tell your pt. With a DVT?

Other then that I think its just nerves and side effects from the meds.
