Any advice? TIA
Post Body

I am 26 years old. Female. 5'4, approximately 270 lbs. non-smoker. I have hypothyroidism, and season allergies. I have no allergies to medication.

I am taking Benzonatate 200 mg, Robitussin, theraflu and occasionally mucinex DM.

I am also drinking teas, water, powerade and emergen-c.

Synopsis: I have an upper respiratory infection and positive for COVID-19.

Jan. 6th & 7th, I coughed up congestion and blood. Friday, the Jan. 7th,  it was a significant amount a blood. I went to the ER. They wanted to do X-rays for pneumonia but decided against it for some reason. Told me to wait in my car due to the hospital being full. I was told I was to be discharged and to call later about my COVID-19 results. All they gave me was Benzonatate. They did not do the x-ray for pneumonia. I was told I have an upper respiratory infection.

I called back and I was positive.

I am still coughing up blood this morning.

I told them I did not have insurance and they rushed me out the door.

Is there natural remedies or over the counter medicine I can take to release all this congestion or kill this infection?

Do I go back to the ER? I want to try to go to my university clinic and be seen through the phone.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.
