I have been diagnosed with CSA for about 7 months. For the past 5, I have been using an ASV machine, which is essentially a BiPap. It has improved my sleep quality, but I still find myself chronically fatigued, to the point where I can barely function throughout the day. I am trying to isolate every variable I can that may affect sleep quality, which brings me to the question of coffee.
I know that caffeine has a quarter-life of essentially 12 hours, give or take. Whatever I drink in the morning will still be circulating in my head as I go to bed. My question is, is there an amount where coffee's effect is negligible on the quality of sleep? I want to know if I will still be able to use coffee to become ambulatory in the mornings or if it is simply contributing to a sleep fatigue cycle.
