Hello Everyone so I'm currently 25 and I am worried I ruined my deviated septum surgery from picking my nose. I had my surgery in 2017 with success and no complications. I have sadly been an avid nose picker since the day I can remember. Maybe it's because I have ADHD and keeps me entertained but who knows.
about a month ago I was picking my left nostril and I felt a slight pain and the taste of blood in the back of my throat and mouth (No blood was actually showing) I thought nothing of it until I started overthinking about it. I can hear a very slight whistle from my left nostril and when I breathe in through my nose it doesn't feel complete. I don't feel a hole of any kind but I am worried that was is there. It also feels weird breathing through that nostril. There is crust in the top left of it and it won't go away. I do get a very slight headache sometimes when focusing on that left nostril as well. I have not gotten any nose bleeds though if that does help anything
I am also 5'2 and weigh 135 ( I was born 3 months early and weighed 1 pound) I currently take Concerta for ADHD and Finasteride for hair.
should I stop worrying or is this something bigger than I think it is. Thanks!
