Recovery and Limitations after a Polypectomy
Post Body

My mom had her colonoscopy about a month ago and they found a flat polyp they couldn't remove on site and she's currently scheduled for a surgical removal in mid January. However, she works in childcare and often has to carry babies to toddlers. I wanted to know how soon after the surgery she can expect to work again? I've read that you should avoid strenuous activities for at least a few days but she wants to head back to work within a week.

Currently she's on Amlodipine, a statin, and vitamin D. Age is 63
