20 year old female, 300lbs, 5ā6ā. Not on any medications, but takes ibuprofen for cramps but rarely. Diagnosed with anxiety disorder and recently anemia (due to losing so much blood). Received Covid-19 vaccinations in Jan 2021 and the follow up in Feb.
Iām reaching out on Reddit because Iāve gone to gynecologist who canāt find anything wrong, Iām losing hope and figured maybe someone might know/had experienced the same thing as me.
Since December of 2019 Iāve had a period everyday up until now. There have been days where I would just have spotting, but most of the time they were heavy or normal. I would pass blood clots from sizes ranging from a quarter to a lemon. I would have excruciating painful cramps to the point where I couldnāt stand up or lay down. The pain was mainly on the left side. I wouldnāt have an appetite and when I would eat I would get full by a few bites. I would get comments that I looked like I lost weight. Bloating and fatigue. Not sure if this is related but Iāve noticed a āslushingā sound in my stomach, almost like it sounds like thereās a lot of fluid floating around in my stomach.
I went to the gynecologist in September and got blood work with results of Hemoglobin 6.8% (Low), Hematocrit 25.4% (Low), MCV 59.5 FL (Low), MCH 15.9 pg (Low), MCHC 26.8 G/DL, RDW 17.2%(H), Platelet count 416 K/uL (H), and Monocyte 3% (L). My rbc and wbc count came back normal. My blood work for my thyroid came back normal. They ruled out PCOS. The doctor said I had really bad anemia so I got an iron transfusion which raised my iron levels some but Iām still low.
After that, I had a vaginal sonogram. The doctor didnāt see anything abnormal. I got a D&C and an IUD to hopefully control periods. Biopsy came back normal. Itās been a week since Iāve had the D&C and Iām still having really bad cramps and small blood clots (but I was told that was normal)
