So I want to acknowledge upfront I'm a very nervous individual around my esophagus. I have a real fear of choking and suffocation because of a severe choking episode from a few years ago. Anyway...
A few weeks back I got my first covid vaccine, this wasn't so bad, barely felt the needle go in but immediately after I began to get very nervous and fidgety. As I sat for the alloted 15 minutes to monitor for a serious adverse reaction I began to feel a burning tightness in my chest and then it came up to my throat. I began to panic and so a nurse took me into a side room to lay down and gave me some water. I took a sip and the water pooled in my throat for a few seconds, like it had closed tightly and the water was going down a drain. I paced panicking for 5 more minutes and when nothing got worse I went home. These unpleasant sensations did not subside until I got home (30 minutes or so later).
My question is, does this sound like an allergic reaction to the jab or an anxiety attack based on the situation and all the negative press I may have subconsciously had in my head?
TL;DR - should I get my second jab as had a bad expirience after 1st
