Localised pain following fever
Post Body

37, Male, 5’11, 18st, Caucasian, UK, High Blood Pressure & Type 2 Diabetes (both managed: Ramapril 2.5mg, Metformin 500mg, floxygen)

Trying to keep it short, three days ago I had the following symptoms appear over the period of 2hrs: whole body ache / pain, dizziness, shivering, high temperature (39c), dehydration. Over night, the fever broke and came down to normal, over the next 24hrs all other symptoms stopped, except:

Localised pain, redness, and slight heat in my lower shin (left). There maybe some minor swelling / fluid beneath skin. Pain is constant, and made worse by pressure.

Localised pain to the inner side of my left knee. No redness, can’t feel swelling or anything abnormal under the skin, but constantly hurts and made worse by pressure.

No sign of bite marks. Covid test is negative

Not getting worse, but hasn’t really changed since the fever came on 3 days ago, whereas all other symptoms had gone after 24hrs.

Likely unrelated, but on the same side, there dry skin / redness between my toes which sometimes bleeds and scans, doesn’t seem to heal. But like athletes foot, but not going away. This is just a minor irritation though.
