How long to keep a shave mole removal covered

45 yr old female. Had about a 1.3 cm in diameter squamous cell mole removed two weeks ago, almost three. Have a MOH’s procedure next Friday, to finish removing the cells. The wound is nearly healed. The adhesive from the bandaids is really starting to irritate my skin.

My question, as I can’t ask my doc on a Saturday night, do you think I could remove the bandage until Friday? It’s healed up fairly well, and is not large at all anymore. I know scabbing is not desired, but that adhesive is really starting to hurt. Thank you for any help.
