Are certain STDs like chlamydia site specific?
Post Body

I'm a gay man and at my last checkup they found chlamydia in my rectum. Nothing was found in the throat or penis. My question is, is it safe to give and receive oral sex given that the chlamydia was only found in the rectum? I'm sure certain STDs are site specific as opposed to systemic infections that get into the blood and affect the whole body like syphilis and HIV.
