Small, soft, wide lumps at base of throat
Post Body

I've had T1 diabetes for 16 years, I'm taking losartan and atorvastatin. Also diagnosed with IBS and GERD.

I began noticing a small raise in the lower right side of my throat about 6 months ago. Its not a lump per se and soft but it feels off when I touch it. Recently have started to feel a similar thing on the left side of my throat surrounding my windpipe. They are about half an inch up from the base of my throat and maybe half an inch in diameter. A doctor checked it out 3 months ago but didn't seem too concerned but did not really advise me on possible things it could be, and they haven't gone away if anything seem to be slightly larger. Again, soft, kinda squishy but if I stretch my neck the right way they definitively seem harder.

Just want to get some advice on what these could be and anything to rule in or out.
