Please help, I've been living in a fog for months with no end in sight
Post Body

Background:

  • 29F
  • 5' 3" or 160cm
  • Roughly 175lbs, though this fluctuates between 160-190lbs
  • Moderately good health with the exception of- Mild scoliosis- Mild disc disease- Transient First Degree AV block- Hx of anxiety/depression
  • Moderately active lifestyle, with 1 day of rigorous exercise per week (this lifestyle started about 2 months ago - after the onset of whatever this is - so I doubt this is the cause)
  • Zero drug, nicotine, or alcohol use. No prescribed drugs. 1 daily multivitamin that I started on about 2 weeks ago. Haven't taken prescription medications in over 10 years, with the exception of Lorazepam given in ED for a panic attack over a year ago.I've never used recreation drugs.I did drink moderately when I was 21-25, but never to excess. No alcohol at all in the last few years.
  • Multiple negative Covid tests since March. I work in healthcare, so I'm tested semi-regularly.

This is a problem somewhat hard to explain in accurate enough detail. It feels like I'm living in a dream. Articles I've read online have led me to believe I'm experiencing fog brain, but it's affecting my entire body. I feel weak and sluggish, like I have to drag myself do do things. It occasionally affects my speech, but not often.Sometimes my skin feels warmer to the touch than normal, but I'm not running a fever. At the start of this, I had about a week where I was running 99 - 99.3, when my normal is around 97.8, but nothing above that.Sometimes my vision feels darker than normal, or that I'm working harder than I should be to see and think. My memory is taking a huge hit. Short-term is alright, but long-term is fading pretty quickly.Listening to other people talk takes more concentration than normal, and even when I do, I don't register everything that's said.Occasionally I'll experience a mild headache. The location varies. It's been sinus/behind the eyes, under my ears, and in the back of my head. The feeling is less painful, more of a squeezing sensation.

I was seen in urgent care in May when I experienced a sudden rush of dizziness, followed by a headache. This has been an every day problem since, minus the dizziness. My doctor doesn't know how to proceed and insists it's a manifestation of anxiety. I've lived with anxiety most of my life, and this is not how it manifests for me. It takes on entirely physical symptoms; racing heart, sweaty hands/feet, etc. On top of that, no medication I've taken for anxiety that has helped in the past is helping now (SSRIs, benzodiazepines, gabapentin), leading me to believe this is not anxiety. However, it does trigger a pretty serious panic reaction when it comes on suddenly, so I would love to get it solved.

Tests that were run in urgent care:

  • CBC/PLT/DIFF
  • CMP
  • D-DIMER
  • Troponin
  • Pregnancy
  • EKG
  • X-Ray of Lumbar, 2V / 3V

EDIT: All of which were normal, with the exception of the expected xray results.

My health is exceptionally well monitored, so I'm happy to provide any imaging or blood test results in the interest of getting an answer.
