Overwhelming nausea and sensation of feeling full after consuming anything sweet, be it artificial or natural. [18F] [60kg]
Post Body

PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I’m 18[F], 174cm and about 60kg. I have chronic migraines with aura since 11years old, suspected PCOS, and occasional IBS. I’m posting here again because I can’t take it anymore, so I’m hoping for a response. For as long as I can remember I’ve had this issue where I get nauseous after consuming anything sweet, even fruits. For the past 2 or three years it’s gotten way worse. I’d get so nauseated that I’d be on the verge of fainting. The level of nausea depends on how sweet whatever I eat is. I recently found out that I’m lactose intolerant and that causes nausea too. I thought that it was normal and could never understand how people could have a sweet tooth if sweet things made you feel so bad, same with milk products. Yesterday I ate 2 chocolate biscuits with a little cream inside and there were 4 in the pack. On the 2nd biscuit the nausea was so overwhelming and I had to give it to my mother to eat. She doesn’t know why it happens. It would happen with mangoes, bananas, apples, any sweet fruit. It just seems to be getting worse and worse. Today I ate a currant roll pastry my mother made and I almost cried because I just couldn’t handle it. It’s been a few hours and I’m still recovering from the nausea.

Additionally, sweet foods give me a sensation of being full as if I’d just had a full meal. I could eat just a few grapes and feel full for hours. Because of that issue I became very ill and vitamin deficient and anemic. I have no issue with savory foods at all (except for the ones that have additives that trigger a migraine for me).Even my doctor is confused on the matter and has no clue what it could be.

I would like to throw up to get some kind of relief , but I can’t bring myself to do it because it reminds me of an incident where a teacher choked me when I was younger and I threw up 8-10 times in a matter of hours and I’d get really anxious. Emetophobia? Idk. But I’d like an answer or a suggestion as to what’s going on because it’s honestly so tiring and frustrating to not enjoy so many foods without almost passing out from nausea.
