Sharp shooting pains while not on period [18F] [60kg]
Post Body

Okay so the title basically says my problem. This has been happening for a while now, maybe a little over a year? What used to be a rare occurrence happens several times a day now. I’ve had my period since I was 12 and I’m 18 now, almost 19. It was regular for a few years, but in the past year and a half it’s so irregular. Last year I skipped 3 months and this year I’ve skipped 3 so far (not back to back tho). I’ve found that in between periods I’d have ridiculously sudden sharp pains that are nothing like cramps. It would just be in one spot. I feel it in varying locations throughout what I assume is my uterus. I have no idea what it could be. As I’m typing this I felt another one. Today I felt one that was very different, I felt it deep and it was a searing pain that went shooting downwards and stopped. I’m so scared. I’m waiting on my results for an ultrasound I had to check for PCOS, but as far as I know this type of pain doesn’t happen with that. I have relatively painless periods that would only produce mild cramping for the first couple of hours to let me know that it’s there. I really don’t know what to do and I’m so afraid to know what it could possibly be. I’m not pregnant, I’m a complete virgin, I’m not on any hormonal medications or birth control. I have occasional anemia because my iron count is low but I take supplements to help with it. I’d rather die than find out that I could be infertile. Any suggestions as to what it could be?
