Flu with difficulty breathing and fever that changes rapidly
Post Body

33F, 106 lbs, no recent medical history or pharmaceuticals at the moment.

I’ve had the flu for 5 days and was diagnosed and treated at the hospital a few days ago. I started to feel better 2 days ago, but have been getting worse. I can’t eat anything, the fever comes and goes anywhere between 100-102, and I’ve had a lot of difficulty breathing due to mucus. I’m really exhausted and in a lot of pain, but having a hard time sleeping because I can’t breathe easily while lying down.

How long is this going to last, and is it normal to get worse before I recover? When should I go back for medical treatment?
